Writing a brand book to win over the board

A multinational financial services group were refreshing their brand. They needed to win over the board and get sign off for the new direction. So we worked with the brand team to create a book that told the story of the new brand – what it meant for the business and its customers. We wrote the copy, working closely with the design team. We also wrote the script for a short film to explain the bigger picture of the shift. The board loved the book, and the team got the go-ahead.

PA Consulting had commissioned some research about the future of regulators in the UK. The findings were fascinating, they just needed a clear angle and a strong narrative. So we took a 109-slide deck full of content and turned it into a 16-page report. We added opinion and case studies by interviewing PA experts, and bringing their insights to life. And we followed up by rewriting blogs to support the research and highlight the findings.

To date, the report’s had excellent PR coverage, including in Forbes.

Dynamo – a digital mortgaging app – were about to launch. But first, they needed a tone of voice and website to go with their brand. We worked with the team to look at the market, assess the competitors and find a distinctive way to talk. We distilled the spirit of the brand into practical tone of voice guidelines. And we wrote the launch website. The client told us they were the most practical tone of voice guidelines they’d ever seen.
